Pentuset ovat nyt 7 viikkoa vanhoja. Ensi viikolla ainakin Riesu muuttaa uuteen kotiin. Myös ainakin Huiskin tai Alruunan koti on varmistunut, mahdollisesti kummankin tai sitten Norriska muuttaa kyseiseen kotiin :) Punurmiohan on jäämässä kotiin meidän iloksemme.
// The puppies are now 7-week-old. Next week at least Riesu moves to a new home. Also at least Huiski's or Alruuna's home is now sure, probably the both's or Norriska is one to move. Punurmio will stay with us.
Kuluneella viikolla pennuilla on käynyt paljon vieraita ja niiden rekisteritodistukset ovat tulleet postissa. Pennut ovat sekä ihastuttaneet että kauhistuttaneet vieraita. Nämä eivät ehkä vastaa joidenkin mielikuvaa isovillakoiran pennuista, vaan ovat erittäin vilkkaita, aktiivisia ja energisiä ja mm roikkuvat todella mielellään villasukissa. Mutta osaavat olla myös suloisia.
// During the past week the puppies have had lots of visitors and their registration papers have arrived. The puppies have both fascinated and terrified guests. These are probably not what some people assume standard poodle puppies to be but very active and energetic and they love for example to hang in the socks. But they can also be very cute.

Pennut ovat viettäneet ystävänpäivää äidin vieressä nukkuen. Pimu imettää niitä edelleen muutaman kerran päivässä lyhyen aikaa, mutta viikon alusta alkaen Pimu on nukkunut yöt eri huoneessa kuin pennut.
// The puppies have spent Valentine's Day by sleeping next to the mum. Pimu nurses them still couple of times for a short period. Since beginning of the week Pimu has spent nights in a different room.
Pennut ovat tutustuneet vieraaseen koiraan, ne on madotettu, osa pennuista on pesty ja puunattu, kaikki pennut ovat autoilleet (kaikki meni hyvin, vain Norriska oli oksentanut vähän) ja käyneet ensimmäistä kertaa metsässä, äidin ja leikkitäti Leyan seurassa. Muutoinkin pennut ovat ulkoilleet paljon ja ne tietävät jo, että tarpeet tehdään ulos (toki erityisesti pissoja tulee sisällekin).
// The puppies have met a dog they did not know previously, they have been de-wormed, some of the puppies have been washed and groomed, they have had a joyride and been to the woods for the first time with mum and Leya.
Tulevalla viikolla on ohjelmassa ainakin kertaalleen niiden pentujen pesu, joita ei tällä viikolla pesty, mahdollisesti kahdesti. Saamme jälleen vieraita ja käymme itsekin kylässä pentujen kanssa. Pentutesti on lauantai-iltana ja eläinlääkärin tarkastus maanantaina. Toivottavasti pääsemme myös tapaamaan jotain kivaa erinäköistä koiraa ja ainakin uuteen kotiin lähtevällä Riesulla on edessään jälleen pesu ja puunaus.
// Next week I will wash at least once the puppies which weren't washed this week, maybe even twice. We will get visits and make a visit with the puppies as well. The puppies will be tested on Saturday night and checked by the vet on Monday. Hopefully we will meet another nice behaving different looking dog. And at least Riesu who will move to the new home, will be washed and groomed again.

Norriska on oikein mukava poikakoiran alku. Se on siskojaan rauhallisempi, mutta todella reipas ja utelias. Tästä tulisi johonkin perheeseen oikein mukava koiruus! Norriskan koti siis ei vielä ole varmistunut.
// Norriska is a very nice malepuppy. He is calmer than his sisters but very brave and curious. He would make a great dog to a family. That means, we do not know about his home for sure yet.
