Vietimme eilisen Kemin ryhmänäyttelyssä neljän koiran kera. Menestys oli kyllä mukavaa, tosin Pimulta jäi edelleen SA saamatta, eikä se saanut edes eriä :( No, ehkä joku toinen kerta, ehkäpä jo ensi viikonloppuna :)
// We spent the whole day yesterday at a group show (for FCI1 and FCI 9) in Kemi. We had nice success, though Pimu did not gain a ck, not even an excellent :( Well, maybe another time then, maybe already next weekend :)
Ensimmäisenä kehään asteli meidän koirista Tito, joka esiintyi ainoana rodussaan avoimessa luokassa. Tuomareina keskareilla norjalainen Hjorth Leif Ragnar.
Reetta ahkeroi handlerina kaikkien koirien kanssa ja esittikin koirat hyvään varmaan tapaansa. Titolle AVO ERI, AVK 1 ja SA! Tämä siis Titon näyttelyuran ensimmäinen SA!
// The first of our dogs to enter the show ring was Tito who was the only male in the open class. The judge for the medium sized poodles was Hjort Leif Ragnar from Norway.
Reetta handled all our dogs and did splendid job. Tito got AVO EXC, AVK 1 and CK! That was the first CK in his show career!

Sitten oli näytteleynaftaliinista viiden vuoden tauon jälkeen kaivetun Mortti-isän vuoro astua kehään veteraaniluokassa. Mortin näyttelyyn ottaminen oli vähän vitsi: se on pikkuisen massakas (12 kg) ja kookas (täydet 45 cm) keskariuros nykyiseen trendiin verrattuna. Mutta Leif Ragnar arvosti veteraaniamme ja antoi sille VET ERI, VEK 1, SA! Isä ja poika olivat siis kumpikin mukana paras uros kehässä.
// Then it was time to our younger veteran to enter the show ring. He had not been to the dog shows for five years. It was like a joke to take him with: he is a bit more muscular (weights 12 kg) and taller (45 cm) medium sized male than they nowadays are. But the judge appreciated our senior citizen and gave him VET EXC, VEK 1, and CK! So we had both the father and the son in the Best Male ring.

PU-kehässä oli kolme urosta. Näistä Tito sijoittui Reetan esittämänä PU2-sijalle ja sai vara-sertin! Minä esitin Mortin ja se oli PU3 ja rotunsa ainoana veteraaniluokan koirana myös VET ROP. Vau!
// There were three males in the Best Male competition. Tito was BM2 and got a res-CAC! Mortti was BM3. He was also the Best Veteran of his breed.
Isovillakoirien tuomarina oli Anna Redlicka Puolasta. Myös Hessu oli ainoana urosten veteraaniluokassa (ja ainoa veteraani rodussaan). Hessu esiintyi hyvin ja liikkui lennokkaasti kuten sillä on tapana. Sille VET ERI, VEK 1, SA, ja paras uros kehästä vielä PU 3-sijoitus. Hessu oli tietysti myös VET ROP.
// The judge for the standard poodles was Anna Redlicka from Poland. Also Hessu was the only participant in the veteran class. He moved very beautifully as he usually does. He got VET EXC, VEK 1, CK and was BM 3. He was also the Best veteran of his breed.

Kun Pimu astui heti PU-kehän jälkeen kehään nyöriturkissaan, huomasi, että tuomarin huumorintaju nyörivillakoiria kohtaan oli täysi. Tuomari ei pahemmin koskenut Pimuun eikä ilmeisesti mitenkään tykännyt siitä. Pimulle NUO EH NUK 2.
// As Pimu entered the show ring right after the Best Male competition, one could see that the judge had got enough of the corded poodles. She did not touch Pimu properly and did not like her that much at all. Pimu got NUO VG NUK 2.

Vetskumme kävivät myös isossa veteraanikehässä juoksemassa, mutta sieltä ei minkäänlaista menestystä tullut.
// Our veterans went also to the competiton of best veteran of the show but got no success.
