Minullahan oli aikomus astuttaa Pimu "seuraavasta juoksusta", joten sitä varten varasin sille joulun alla ajan terveystarkastuksiin tälle päivälle. No, Pimuhan oli näppärä ja aloitti juoksun jouluna :( (yhtä aikaa Leyan kanssa; Pimulla vain 3 kk juoksuväli, samoin oli viime talvena). Eli astuttaminen jää nyt sitten taas seuraavaan juoksuun, koska Pimulta otettu SA-testi (ihobiopsia) ei ehdi valmistua tähän juoksuun - ja mikä merkittävämpää, minulla ei ole sille urosta. Yhtä todella mielenkiintoista urosta olen kyllä kysellyt, mutta en ole vielä saanut vastausta. Toivoisin niin saavani myönteisen vastauksen... No, tämän päivän terveystarkkien tulokset olivat kyllä vallan mainiot: silmissä ei yhtään mitään (ei "edes" ylimääräisiä silmäripsiä) eikä sydämessä sivuääniä vaan tutkineen eläinlääkärin mukaan erityisen rauhallinen sydän. Nyt sitten jatkamme agilityn ja rally-tokon treenaamista sekä käymme muutamassa näyttelyssä. Ja odotamme SA-testin tulosta - sekä sitä seuraavaa juoksua.
// My plan was to mate Pimu in "the next heat" so before Christmas I booked health tests for her. But Pimu was quicker and started her heat already at Christmas (together with Leya; only 3 months from her previous heat). So, I have to postpone her puppies again - to the next heat. Reasons: I won't get result for her skin biopsy (taken today for SA-disease) at time for this heat - and more remarkable, I do not have a male for her. I have done some questioning for one, which I am really interested in, but I have not got any answer yet. I wish for a positive one... But the results of health tests done today were excellent: there is nothing in Pimu's eyes (not "even" extra eyelashes) or no murmur in her heart (according to the veterinarian her heart is especially calm). Now we will continue training agility and rally-obedience and take part in some dog shows. And we wait for the result of SA-test - and Pimu's next heat.
